As a concept, it's fine, it's just really badly applied. I just don't understand why they include crafting, cooking and mending in the calculation.

Everything is calculated based on the player position: temperature, wind, clothing/item decay, and cabin fever. I'm assuming what you cleared was cabin fever risk since you wouldn't be able to sleep or pass time in the hut if you actually had cabin fever. 29
